The Free General Biology I (BIO 1110) Readiness Workshop, August 2017 has is full

You are invited to apply to attend a free General Biology I (Biology 1110) readiness Workshop on Monday, August 21 through Wednesday, August 23, 2017. The workshop is designed to help prepare you for success in the General Biology I (BIO 1110) course in which you are enroled for fall 2017.

Questions about the program may be addressed to Dr. Ginger Rowell, Director, Tennessee STEM Education Center at MTSU (, or 615-904-8573 ).

The workshop runs from 9 am to 4:30 pm each day with lunch on your own from 12:00 to 1:00. You must commit to attend all three days. Slots are limited so please register as soon as possible, but no later than August 7, 2017.

If you are accepted to attend, you will receive an email with the location of the workshop. Watch your email and confirm your attendance. Please arrive on time with pencil and paper and a willingness to learn.

When you apply, you will receive an email announcing that your applicaiton has been received but this does not mean you are accepted into the workshop. Another email will inform you if you are accepted to attend. First generation means neither parent graduated from college.
